Jimmy Barber is currently serving as judicial assistant to Sir John Thomas, President of the Queen's Bench Division for the Easter and Trinity terms. This scheme offers barristers and solicitors at the start of their careers an invaluable insight into the appellate process. As well as working for the Civil Appeals Office reviewing applications for permission to appeal, Jimmy is assisting the President of the QBD on several of his high profile judicial review cases.
